Assessing a potential move into Central Thailand manufacturing

1 The challenge

A mid-sized manufacturer with regional ambitions had identified a potential opportunity in a new segment but had limited visibility into the competitive landscape and regulatory environment in the target area.

2 Our approach

Competitor landscape mapping through desk research and trade source analysis; regulatory review covering licensing, zoning, and sector-specific requirements; development of three market entry scenarios with differing timelines and investment levels.

3 The outcome

The analysis revealed a regulatory barrier that had not been visible from the client's initial research, and identified a competitor who had recently exited the target segment — creating a window the client hadn't anticipated. Entry proceeded 6 months later on a modified timeline.

Operations Efficiency Review

Reducing order fulfilment delays at a Bangkok services company

1 The challenge

A professional services company had grown quickly and was experiencing delays in its client onboarding and delivery process. Leadership sensed the issue was structural but didn't have a clear picture of where it originated.

2 Our approach

A full process mapping exercise across the client-facing workflow; bottleneck analysis identifying three critical handoff points where work was routinely stalling; review of the task management tools in use against functional alternatives.

3 The outcome

The final report identified seven prioritised changes, three of which could be implemented without additional budget. The client implemented five of the seven within the following quarter and reported a measurable reduction in average client onboarding time.

Leadership Alignment Workshop Series

Preparing an executive team for an ownership transition

1 The challenge

A family-owned business preparing for a generational ownership transfer had a leadership team with mixed levels of buy-in to the incoming vision. Several long-standing assumptions about how decisions were made had not been explicitly tested as the organisation grew.

2 Our approach

Individual pre-session interviews with all six members of the leadership group; a six-session workshop series covering vision alignment, decision-making authority, communication protocols, and change management; written between-session reflections shared with all participants.

3 The outcome

The series produced a documented set of working agreements and a shared decision framework that the team adopted formally. One participant who had been considered a flight risk during the transition subsequently reconfirmed their commitment and took on an expanded role.
